Description

TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT: Contingent upon student enrollment.                      

  • Planning Day on site June 30th, 2025 from 8:00 a.m.-11:00 a.m. at Poquoson Middle School
  • Credit Recovery will run for 4 weeks June 30th- July 25th, 2025
  • Student Hours: asynchronous with course completion by July 25, 2025
  • Staff will be paid on August 20, 2025
  • Teacher Pay is $35.00/ hr.



PRIMARY FUNCTION: Responsible for the facilitating instructional programming for high school students through an online asynchronous program for the purpose of credit recovery for specified content.
 
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
• Holds a professional license with a teaching endorsement at the appropriate level (elementary, middle, or high school)
• Demonstrates professional and personal characteristics necessary for working effectively with students, parents, school personnel, and members of the community
• Ability to prepare required written reports
• Ability to monitor and ensure appropriate student participation
• Possesses high moral standards and integrity
• Competent in the use of instructional technology hardware and software
