ob Title:Part-Time High School Choir Teacher

Location: Utah Military Academy in Riverdale, Utah

Position Type:Part-Time

Overview: We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Part-Time High School Choir Teacher to inspire and lead our students in developing their musical skills, teamwork, and love for choral music. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in vocal music, excellent communication skills, and a commitment to fostering a positive and inclusive learning environment.

Responsibilities: - Plan and deliver engaging choir lessons that develop students’ vocal techniques, sight-reading, and musical understanding. - Rehearse and prepare students for performances, concerts, and competitions. - Foster a positive, inclusive, and supportive environment that encourages student participation and growth. - Collaborate with other music and arts faculty to integrate programs and enhance student experiences. - Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback. - Maintain appropriate records of attendance, grades, and other relevant documentation. - Promote good behavior and respect among choir members. - Organize and supervise choir-related activities outside regular class hours, including concerts and community events.

Schedule: - Approximately 20 hours per week, during school hours and after-school rehearsals as needed. - Flexibility to attend performances and special events.

Compensation: - Competitive salary beginning at $25,000 per year based on experience and qualifications.
