Mission Statement
Our Purpose: We are a general education public charter middle school with an emphasis on Agricultural Science. School Mission Statement: The mission of the Beulah Academy of Science is to provide a quality, community based education to children in grades 6-8. The Beulah Academy is committed to providing a teaching environment that fosters a love of learning, promotes academic achievement, and generates self-esteem for children of varying levels of ability. This education strives to prepare our students to become responsible, productive adults able to meet the challenges of the 21st century. School Philosophy: Our vision is to provide our students with a community-based middle school education. As an agricultural community, our students have the opportunity to participate in an extensive study in agricultural science. We enhance our student's educational experience by using an interdisciplinary core curriculum delivered through team-teaching and flexible grouping. Our philosophy of education is based on the following six truths: 1. Students learn by doing. 2. Students learn through the help of other students. 3. Students are motivated to learn when given more freedom. 4. Learning takes place when there is a purpose. 5. Students increase their knowledge when they share it. 6. Students are ultimately responsible for their own learning.
