Secondary Instructional Coordinator- Literacy
Wayzata Public Schools
FTE: 1.0
Starting Fall 2026

Compensation Range:  $48,949- $115,588 (Depending on Education and Experience)

Position Description:
The Secondary Instructional Coordinator reports to the Executive Director of Teaching and Learning, in collaboration with Teaching and Learning Directors, and is a key figure in supporting classroom teachers with instructional excellence and competency with implementation of classroom curriculum.  This Instructional Coordinator position will have an emphasis on reading literacy and instruction. 

*This position is a teacher on special assignment in the Teaching and Learning department and may return to the classroom depending on instructional support needs and standards/curriculum review cycles.  

Qualifications:

  • Must have a valid MN teaching license.
  • Bachelor of Arts or Science Required
  • Masters Degree Preferred
  • Reading Licensure Preferred
  • Experience teaching secondary reading/literacy Preferred
  • Coaching or teacher leadership experience Preferred
