HIGH SCHOOL
ASSISTANT PRINCIPAL
206 DAYS PER YR/8 HRS PER DAY
ANTICIPATED START DATE: TBD
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Valid Washington State Principal certification required.
- Master’s Degree in educational administration or related field required.
- Demonstrated successful experience as an assistant principal preferred.
- Demonstrated depth of knowledge and experience in effective supervision and evaluation of staff using the Danielson Frameworks.
- Demonstrated knowledge of Common Core Standards, state assessments, and related school reform initiatives affecting schools.
- Ability to use data for improving and sustaining teaching and learning.
- Possess knowledge and experience to maintain a safe, orderly learning environment by implementing effective student discipline in compliance with district policies and state laws.
- Possess skills and knowledge to effectively manage fiscal resources and school operations.
- Possess skills necessary to build and maintain strong, positive relationships with students, parents, staff and community form a diverse cultural, social and economic background.
- Experience with cultural, ethnic and language diversity preferred.
- Bilingual English/Spanish preferred.
RCW 49.58.110 REQUIREMENTS
Yearly Salary Range: $131,490 – 163,506 (Depending on Experience & Education)
