Substitute Teacher
Description
Before applying to become a Guest Educator with Indian River County Schools, you must meet all of the following requirements:
- Completion of at least 60 college credit hours, or an Associate's degree or higher from an accredited college or university, with a minimum GPA of 2.5
- Completion of STEDI online training and testing, if required
- Successful completion of all required pre-employment screenings, including workplace screening and fingerprinting
In addition, candidates must:
- Have reliable internet access
- Be physically capable of performing the duties of a guest educator
- Have dependable transportation
- Be able to occasionally lift up to 50 pounds, frequently lift up to 20 pounds, and lift up to 10 pounds as needed to move objects
- Be available to work Monday through Friday across all grade levels and subject areas
