Position Summary: This position is a good opportunity for anyone who enjoys teaching at the middle school level . The individual will promote the kind of instruction and learning environment that will enable each student to master the skills appropriate to age, grade level and individual capacity.
Minimum Requirements:
- Valid Alaska teaching certificate with an endorsement with appropriate endorsement
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in education.
- Master's degree in education preferred.
- Experience teaching at the middle school level.
- Experience or ability to work with instructional technology is highly desirable.
- Experience working with team teaching, integrated content and project-based assessment.
- Previous experience working on a team in a professional learning community.
