Position Overview: Community Ed Summer Theater Production Stage Manager
Hours/Day: Varies depending on theater production schedule
Days/Year:  5/15/2025-8/10/2025
Compensation/benefits: $1,700

Primary Responsibilities: 

  • Ideal candidate will have experience running rehearsals, creating and maintaining a prompt book, working backstage and calling shows.
  • Must be well-organized, communicative, patient and able to stay positive even while having the challenging conversations needed to ensure that the production runs smoothly.
  • Other duties include but are not limited to scheduling production meetings, working with all members of the artistic and production team, managing the rehearsal calendar, recording blocking, recruiting and managing backstage run crew and recording and distributing rehearsal and production reports.


Requirements: 

Every person who will work with any theater production, whether a current employee or other, must apply AND complete ALL necessary steps set by HR PRIOR to working. No Work until HR has given an approved start date.
