Substitute Teachers

H.W. Porter School located in Columbia Connecticut is seeking substitute teachers.  We are looking for energetic and motivated substitutes to work with students at all levels from pre-kindergarten to eighth grade.

• Instructs students and facilitates their learning in the absence of the regular teacher
• Teacher applicants must hold a bachelor degree 
• The position(s) will be available on an as needed basis at the substitute rate of pay of $125/day with no benefits provided
• Proof of a bachelor degree required for teacher substitutes
• Paraeducator substitutes must provide proof of high school diploma
