Mankato Public School District

School district #77 serves Mankato, North Mankato, Eagle Lake and Madison Lake. The district covers 135 square miles and extends into three counties: Blue Earth, Nicollet and Le Sueur.

In partnership with stakeholders, we provide effective educational opportunities for all learners to acquire the skills, knowledge, and attitudes necessary to be responsible citizens in a diverse, changing, and global society. Our vision is to continually improve our Mankato Area Education System to ensure that all learners are provided with the skills, knowledge, and attitudes needed for them to thrive in their ever-changing 21st century environment. Our decisions will be guided both by the wisdom of the ages and the challenges of the future.
