Job Title: ADSIS Behavior Intervention Paraprofessional (Grades K-6)
Location: BOLD Public Schools, Olivia, MN 56087
Position Type: Full-Time (6.5 hr/day)
Start Date: August 2025

About Us:

BOLD Public Schools is committed to providing proactive and equitable supports to help all students succeed. Through the Alternative Delivery of Specialized Instructional Services (ADSIS) model, we offer targeted behavioral interventions for students who need additional assistance outside of special education. We are seeking a caring and reliable ADSIS Behavior Intervention Paraprofessional to support K-6 students in building positive behavior skills and improving their school success.

Position Summary:

The ADSIS Behavior Intervention Paraprofessional works under the direction of licensed staff to provide behavior support to K-6 students receiving services through the ADSIS program. This role involves assisting students in learning and applying behavior strategies, monitoring progress, and helping create a safe, supportive learning environment.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct behavior support to K-6 students individually or in small groups, as directed by the ADSIS coordinator or licensed staff.
  • ?Assist in the implementation of behavior intervention strategies, including reinforcement systems, self-regulation techniques, and social skills instruction.
  • Monitor and record student behavior data to help track progress and guide intervention adjustments.
  • Support teachers and intervention staff in managing student behavior and implementing classroom plans.
  • Model and coach appropriate social-emotional and problem-solving behaviors.
  • Supervise students during transitions, breaks, or other settings as needed to support behavior goals.
  • Maintain confidentiality and professionalism when working with students and families.


Qualifications:

Required:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • ?Experience working with children or youth in a school or support setting
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to remain calm and supportive during challenging situations
  • Commitment to student growth and equitable access to support

Preferred:

  • Experience working with students with behavioral or emotional needs
  • Familiarity with the ADSIS framework, PBIS, or MTSS
  • Training in de-escalation strategies (e.g., CPI, trauma-informed care)
  • Associate’s degree or completion of a paraprofessional training program (if required by district)


Compensation & Benefits:

Yearly salary range: $15,680-$23,700
