Description

The Wall School enrollment is 250 students K-12. The school is in a new facility built in 2004. The school is a one-one laptop school 6-12th grade. In 2008 the Wall School District was a Distinguish School across the board. The Wall School District’s pay is competitive for South Dakota standards. In 2007 the Wall School District received a $450,000 grant to refurbish and build a weight and workout facility. The Wall community is know as the Window to the West watching over the intriguing buttes of Badlands National Park. Wall is a very progressive community, Wall boast outstanding customer service providers, an excellent health service clinic, and a variety of community organizations. Wall is also the home of the world famous Wall Drug Store, established in 1931. With their $3 million art collection, 5 cent coffee, ‘free ice water”, and the city’s ability to accommodate over 2,000 guests nightly, Wall Drug is a must-see for visitors passing through on SD Interstate 90. Wall is a short 40 minute drive down Interstate 90 to Rapid City, SD population of 60,000.
