Croswell-Lexington Community Schools is a vibrant and inclusive learning community committed to academic excellence, character development, and lifelong learning. We are seeking a passionate and dedicated math/science teacher to join our team and inspire students to be lifelong learners.
Required Qualifications:
- Certified with the State of Michigan to teach high school math (EX) and science (DX/DI) with additional certifications preferred.
- Effective classroom management skills.
- Ability to build positive relationships with students and families.
- Passion for teaching and working with students.
- Commitment to ensure all students are academically challenged based on individual learning levels.
- Develop and implement engaging lesson plans aligned with school and curriculum standards
- Utilize formative and summative assessments to determine student growth
- Provide feedback to students and communicate regularly with parents/guardians
- Collaborate with colleagues and participate in faculty meetings and professional development
- Incorporate technology and diverse teaching strategies to meet varied learning styles and needs
- Letter of Application, with a review of experience appropriate to the position.
- Resume, MTTC scores, transcripts, letters of recommendation.
- Math Certification - EX, Science Certification (DX/DI)
