Edgemont School District 23-1

We are looking for a flexible, creative, strong special education teacher to work with the general education teachers to help plan content and support special needs within the k-8 classrooms.  This teacher will work closely with the general education teachers and several paraprofessionals to better customize learning in our school. We are located in the beautiful Southern Black Hills and teach in a four-day school week.

Come teach in an innovative, student-centered environment! Our elementary school has combined-age classrooms to better meet the needs of learners at their individual skill levels, grouping and regrouping by content needs, rather than age levels. In order to create smaller groups and better customize learning, there is additional support from the technology integrationist and paraprofessionals.
