Spartanburg 5 School District, one of seven independent school districts in Spartanburg County, is home to nine highly successful, award-winning schools. Located in the center of a vibrant, rapidly growing international business community, we currently serve 6,500 students with a staff of over 700. Our mission is to offer opportunities and cultivate excellence in multiple areas of education while nurturing the children that we serve. With a highly diversified population that includes students of no less than seven nationalities, we embrace new challenges each day. Our district currently has one high school serving children in grades 9-12, two middle school serving students in grades 7-8, two intermediate schools serving children in grades 4-6, and four elementary schools serving children in grades K-3.

Our mission is to ensure that all students succeed in their life choices and function as productive citizens by providing world-class educational experiences in a safe, caring, and nurturing environment.
