Republic School District

The Republic School District is a rural district located in the Kettle Range Mountains of Eastern Washington. The local economy is based primarily on mining, timber, tourism, government services and ranching. The District is proud of its rural character, its dedicated professional staff, and supportive community. The District is a full K-12 campus at one location. A new K-6 facility was constructed in 1996 next to the existing 7-12 facility. This has allowed for the junior high to spread out into its own facility which was formally a 3-6 building. The community now has a complex that will support its growth educationally for the foreseeable future. The Tigers of Republic excel academically and athletically. The District boasts a unique schedule which allows teachers to all have a preparation time at the same time, thereby facilitating coordination, communication, and growth of educational programs.

The mission of the Republic School District, through the combined efforts of our families, schools and community, is to enable our students to achieve their highest level of knowledge, skills and attitudes necessary to be responsible and productive citizens, effective communicators, creative problem solvers and life long learners in a diverse society.
