Description

Located in the greater south Seattle WA area, Highline Public Schools serves over 18,000 students grades K-12 in the communities of Burien, Des Moines, Normandy Park, SeaTac, and White Center. The district has 33 schools, employs over 2,000 staff members, and offers a wide variety of educational opportunities from early childhood to college preparation. The district is well-known for developing an innovative and growing dual language bilingual-biliterate program for K-12 students. Highline students speak over 95 different languages, the top four are English, Spanish, Vietnamese and Somali.
