Virginia Beach City Public Schools

Located on the sandy shores of the Atlantic Ocean & the Chesapeake Bay, VA Beach with a population of 450K ranks as the largest municipality by population in the state. The district is composed of 55 elementary schools, 14 middle schools, 11 high schools and 3 alternative schools and serves nearly 75K students. Residents enjoy a moderate climate, a wide variety of outdoor activities, and the ever changing beauty of 4 seasons, all near the city's 38 miles of shoreline and 28 miles of public beaches.
