Tazewell County is 512 square miles located in the Appalachian Mountains of Southwest Virginia. Tazewell has kept the charm and the ideals of the past, and at the same time has embraced the fast-paced present.

The Tazewell County Public School system is dedicated to the success of all students. Personnel are committed to creating a safe, orderly learning environment in which students are active participants in order that they may mature intellectually, socially, and emotionally. We recognize that certain rights and responsibilities are inherent in the roles of parents, administration, teachers, and students and that the schools are accountable to the communities they serve.
