Prince Edward County Public Schools

All schools are located on Zion Hill Road, south of Farmville, on a 131-acre campus. A newly constructed middle school addition includes six classrooms of 6,500 square feet. Buildings include a high school, a career-technical center, a middle school, an elementary school, an administrative complex, a bus garage, and a maintenance building. Athletic fields include baseball, football, softball, soccer, and track, and three new tennis courts complete one phase of an upgrade to athletic facilities. Laboratories are available for Horticulture, Electronics, Auto Servicing, Building Trades, Food Occupatons, Nursing Assistants, Computer Applications, Agricultural Machinery, Secretarial Services, and Arts/Crafts. An auditorium seats 600, two gymnasiums seat 1,550 and 250, and three cafeterias seat an average of 300.

The Prince Edward County School System's mission is to meet the intellectual, personal, social, and vocational needs of all students.
