Orange County, Virginia is located in the foothills of the Blue Ridge Mountains, about 90 miles southwest of Washington, D.C. and 75 miles northwest of Richmond, Virginia. We operate 8 schools and currently have 5,000 students.

Mission Statement

The mission of the Orange County Public Schools system is to provide the highest quality education for all students in a safe and caring environment. Our graduates will master the essential skills of reading, writing mathematics and reasoning. Our graduates will be health-conscious, life-long learners who demonstrate character and become well-rounded productive citizens.
