Description

Nottoway County, an area of 310 square miles is located in the beautiful rolling hills of south central Virginia. Hunting, hiking, biking, boating, fishing, and bird watching. The western mountain region of Virginia, hosting ski resorts and national forests, is only a few hours away. Chesapeake Bay and the Atlantic Ocean are also within easy driving distance. The Nottoway Public Library has a large collection and modern, state-of-the-art program. Concerts, theater, dance, museums, and lectures are available in nearby Richmond and Farmville. A variety of religious, civic, and community service organizations also provide opportunities for residents.
