Description
Montgomery County is located in the southwestern part of Virginia in the region known as the New River Valley and lies in the picturesque area between the Appalachian Plateau and the Blue Ridge Mountains. The district serves 9,175 students in 20 schools, grades K-12. Montgomery County Public Schools benefits from having two local universities - Virginia Tech and Radford University that provide resources for support of public schools.
