Clarke is located in the picturesque Shenandoah Valley, 60 miles west of Washington, DC and 8 miles east of Winchester, VA. CLARKE COUNTY is comprised of 1 High School, 1 Middle School, and 2 Elementary Schools. Featuring International Baccalaureate (IB), Advanced Placement (AP), Dual Enrollment, Career and Technical Education (CTE) and Work-Based Learning programs at the secondary level and a near perfect on-time Graduation Rate, 300 employees in Clarke County Public Schools serve approximately 2000 students. A newly drafted comprehensive plan including a 1:1 technology initiative for students, comprehensive offerings, desirable class sizes, and a highly engaged and supportive community make CCPS a great place to live, learn, and explore.
