Cherokee School District 01

Cherokee County School District is a mid-size district which accommodates approximately 9,400 students. Students are served in one primary, eleven elementary, four middle and two high schools, one technology center, and a Life-Long Learning Center housing alternative education, adult education and the Parent Literacy Center. Cherokee County School District is accredited by the Southern Association of Colleges (SACS) and by the South Carolina Department of Education. Cherokee County School District is located along the I-85 corridor in the upstate of South Carolina. It is centrally situated between the major metropolitan areas of Greenville/Spartanburg, South Carolina and Charlotte, North Carolina.
