Description

North Sanpete School District provides education for students in the northern half of Sanpete County with the district offices being located in Mount Pleasant. There are 5 elementary schools, 1 middle school, 1 high school and 1 alternative school within the district. Sanpete County is located in the center of Utah and is a rural county filled with a friendly small town atmosphere. Snow College, in the center of the county, provides continuing education and theater that adds to Sanpete’s many festivals and cultural celebrations. The scenic landscape provides recreational opportunities all year long, from snowmobiling and snowboarding in the winter to rock-climbing, fishing, biking and ATV trails in the summer. The 100 miles of Skyline Drive along the top of the Wasatch Plateau is considered one of the most scenic drives in the United States.

North Sanpete Schools will ensure that all students progress at their appropriate level toward becoming accountable citizens by providing classrooms that advance relevant practices in schools that welcome community participation.
