Description

LaRue County Schools has a deep rich history of providing excellent educational opportunities. The district has become recognized across the nation for providing an excellent, quality education for each of our 2,400 students. We currently provide services to preschool through 12th grade students at 5 schools: LaRue County High School, LaRue County Middle School, Hodgenville Elementary School, Abraham Lincoln Elementary School, and staffing at The Life Connection. LaRue County Schools has received multiple awards as a district. Our students and their dedication to succeed has also included numerous individual awards. Student success in academics, athletics, and college and career readiness has made our district a pillar within our community. LaRue County Schools recognizes the importance of parental support in our students' educational success. Together we can ensure that each and every child can achieve their dreams. Students and their success are always put first in every decision that is made. We welcome parents, students, and other districts to visit us and see the great things our students and staff are doing!

Mission Statement

The mission of the LaRue County School District, in partnership with the entire community, is to provide all students, through individualized learning experiences, the knowledge and critical thinking and life skills to succeed in a diverse society.
