The School City of Hammond (SCH) is a thriving progressive educational community of learners. The District is comprised of more than 13,000 students of diverse backgrounds and cultures. There are 14 elementary schools, 2 middle/high schools, 2 middle schools, and 2 high schools. The district offers preschool programs and a number of specialty programs. School City of Hammond embraces its diversity and communicates consistently high expectations. SCH provides a rich and challenging learning environment that encourages academic excellence and the development of talents that prepares students to make positive contributions to our world.
