Description

Libertyville District 70 is located in Libertyville, Illinois, about 35 miles north of Chicago in the suburbs. Referred to as the North Shore, Libertyville is a great place to live and work. The district has approximately 2,000 students and includes four elementary schools and one middle school. The elementary schools have kindergarten through fifth grade, while the middle school consists of sixth, seventh and eighth grades. Three of our schools are currently rated as Exemplary on the state report card, while the other two are designated as Commendable. Libertyville D70 has been cited twice in the last 8 years as a Top Work Place by the Chicago Tribune.
