TITLE:    Math Interventionist Grades 5-8

                

QUALIFICATIONS:    B.A./B.S in Education

                                  PEL (Professional Educator License)

                                  Math Teacher Endorsement or Math Specialist preferred

                                  Excellent Communication and Teaching Skills

                                   Ability to Lead and Facilitate Meetings with Educators

 

REPORTS TO:      Superintendent & Deputy Superintendent    

 

PERFORMANCE RESPONSIBILITIES:

 

1.   Works collaboratively with the Literacy Coordinator or Assistant Principals to provide the following services:

1. Interventions to students (Tier 2 and Tier 3) Push-in or Pull-out

2. Provide Push-in services in classrooms (Tier 1)

3. Collects data and analyzes data in relation to interventions delivered

4. Attend data meetings to collaborate and communicate with teams

5. Meet with Literacy Coordinator and Administration routinely

6. Provide support to classroom teachers with implementation of interventions

Other Duties as Assigned by District Admin (Principal, Superintendent, & Deputy Superintendent)

 

EVALUATION:     Performance of this job will be evaluated annually in accordance
                             with provisions of the Board’s policy on evaluation of Administrative Personnel
