Description

Eswood CCSD 269/Eswood Elementary School     Lindenwood, IL
Responsibilities:
• Support Teachers: Assist teachers in meeting the educational, behavioral, and social-emotional needs of students.
• Individual and Small Group Instruction: Provide individual and small group instruction to reinforce school-wide expectations and interventions.
• Data Collection and Monitoring: Assist in collecting data and monitoring student progress to support the MTSS process.
• Behavioral Support: Help plan and instruct social-emotional learning (SEL) and behavior interventions.
• Collaboration: Work closely with the MTSS coordinator, teachers, administrators, and other school staff to implement and monitor MTSS interventions.
• Professional Development: Participate in professional learning sessions and provide training to staff on MTSS and behavior support strategies.
• Environment Management: Assist in maintaining a well-managed, safe, and orderly environment that encourages respect for all students. Qualifications:

• Education: High school diploma or GED equivalent. Completion of at least two years of study (60 semester hours) above the remedial level with a grade of “C” or better at an accredited institute of higher education, or an Associate’s degree or higher, or a passing score on the Paraprofessional Assessment.

• Skills: Excellent communication skills, ability to follow verbal and written instructions, and proficiency in instructional technology.

• Experience: Experience working with students in a school setting is preferred.

• Physical Demands: Ability to perform routine physical activities such as bending, lifting, pushing, pulling, stooping, kneeling, crouching, reaching, and handling.
