Description
Summer Intern
Terms of Employment: June - August
Department: Technology
Reports To: Director of Technology
Key Responsibilities:
- Support summer projects such as the setup, configuration, deployment, and maintenance of technology equipment including desktops, laptops, tablets, and other devices.
- Provide basic troubleshooting support for hardware and software issues under the supervision of the technology staff.
- Assist in inventorying and tagging equipment.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Current high school/college student with an interest in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field.
- Basic understanding of computer hardware and software, including Microsoft Office, Windows, ChromeOS, and iOS operating systems.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
Preferred Skills:
- Basic understanding of networking concepts (e.g., DHCP, DNS, VLANs).
- Graphic design or multimedia editing experience is a plus.
