Description

Description: Job Coach

Job Summary: Position will be responsible for developing and implementing pre-vocational and vocational programming for students in AERO work programs; for assisting students in obtaining and maintaining employment; for collecting, maintaining, transmitting and delivering grant-related records/data; and for other duties as assigned by the program supervisor.

Position requires the candidate to be flexible and have the ability to multi-task, work cooperatively as well as independently, maintain grant paperwork in an organized fashion, demonstrate proficiency with Microsoft Office products, be able to supervise and provide appropriate role modeling for high school special education students and obtain an Illinois bus driver's permit.

Qualifications: 

  • Minimum twenty-one (21) years of age and hold an Associates Degree

  • Strong communication skills required

  • Work experience in vocational services preferred

  • Grant application experience desired


Working Conditions: work will be conducted in school, office, and employment environments
