Prairie Central CUSD #8 is a sprawling district made up of over 1700 students, 6 schools, and 286 square miles. We have schools located in Chatsworth, Forrest, Fairbury, and Chenoa, and also educate students from Strawn, Wing, Weston, Cropsey, and Meadows. We believe the strength of our district lies in our dedicated staff, from our café workers and custodians to our educational staff and administrative team. So whether you want to work directly with students, feed them a meal, drive them to school, keep their buildings safe and clean, or manage the logistics of our schools, we hope you will choose to join our family of employees.
