Description

St. Lucie County School District serves over 36,000 students who attend the district's 38 schools. All of our schools are accredited by and meet the Southern Association of Schools and Colleges (SACS) requirements for class size. Every school offers core academic courses with curriculum designed to meet the State of Florida Next Generation Curriculum and Achievement Standards for grades K-12. In addition, schools offer a variety of elective classes, performing & fine arts courses, gifted & exceptional student education, advanced placement (AP) courses, high school online, dual enrollment, the International Baccalaureate (IB) program and championship athletic programs. Located in Florida’s Treasure Coast between Daytona Beach and West Palm Beach, St. Lucie County offers an amazing quality of life: 21 miles of unspoiled beaches, river access, and abundant warm weather and sunshine. Vision: St. Lucie Public Schools, in partnership with parents and community, will become premier centers of knowledge that are organized around students and the work provided to them. Our name will be synonymous with the continuous improvement of student achievement and the success of each individual.
