Welcome to the Putnam County School District! We're very proud of all of our teachers, administrators, support staffs, and volunteers in our District who educate and serve our over 10,500 students attending one of our 13 schools located throughout the county. Within easy reach from enjoying all the major theme park and cultural attractions located throughout Central Florida, our county is situated on the lovely St. Johns River, where all forms of water sports, fishing, and recreation are at your disposal. We're also a short drive away from numerous outdoor recreational activities enjoyed within the very large Ocala National Forest. Our county seat is located right here in Palatka, Florida.
