Welcome to the Liberty County School District located in the heart of Florida's Panhandle in beautiful Bristol, Florida! We're very proud of our Liberty County School District. We're a smaller, rural school district consisting of four schools. We have one county-wide high school, two K-8 schools and one Pre-K school. Our district is geographically large in size consisting of mainly forest (Apalachicola National Forest) and lakes, and is bordered on the East and West by the Ochlocknee and Apalachicola Rivers. It's a great, beautiful place to live, work, and play. Located in the heart of the Florida Panhandle Area, the major east-west highway serving Liberty County is State Road 20, which connects Panama City and its pristine beaches, and the beautiful State Capital in Tallahassee, both approximately 45 miles away. State Road 12 provides a quick link to Interstate 10 and U.S. 90 to the north. In Liberty County, we believe access to quality educational opportunities for our children and our workforce is an important priority.
