Located in beautiful Northwest Florida, Holmes County is quietly, yet centrally located between Pensacola and Tallahassee and just 30 miles North of the Gulf of Mexico. The mission of The Holmes County School District is to provide a safe, nurturing environment and a comprehensive curriculum that will allow each student to achieve his/her highest potential and become a responsible, productive citizen. The Holmes School District is a team of dedicated professionals who strive to prepare the oncoming generation to live and work successfully in a rapidly changing world. We accept the challenge providing all students with a strong foundation in enabling skills as well as developing in them the ability to analyze, evaluate, synthesize, and discriminate among ideas.
