The Gadsden County School District is the best kept secret in the State of Florida. Our district serves about 7,000 students and 1,000 employees. Our students are enrolled in classes and programs that range from pre-kindergarten to dual enrollment programs, allowing students to earn college credits from Tallahassee Community College. Nestled in a small community of beautiful green, rolling hills just twenty miles south of the southern most border of Georgia and twenty miles west of Tallahassee (Florida State Capitol), Gadsden County is offering the best of all worlds. Our part of Florida has rolling hills, large forested tracts of land, and abundance of rivers and streams. Our average annual temperature is 70 degrees. We are bisected by Interstate-10 and U.S.90 east/west and U.S. 27 north/south, close to the beaches, but not that far from the mountains.
