Washington Yu Ying PCS (District)

Washington Yu Ying Public Charter School aims to spark the fire of lifelong learning by providing a world class education for students in our nation's capital. The first public school in Washington, DC, to offer Chinese language immersion, Yu Ying combines language immersion with the inquiry-based curricula of the International Baccalaureate Organization. We are a public charter school currently serving Pre-Kindergarten through Grade One students in DC. We will add a grade level each year until we reach Grade 8 in 2015.

Washington Yu Ying Public Charter School aims to nurture the development of a strong social conscience among tomorrow’s global leaders by fostering excellence in our students’ intellectual, moral, social, emotional and physical development in an engaging, inquiry-driven, Chinese – English dual language immersion environment.
