Killingly School District

Description

A former mill town in what is now known as Connecticut's Quiet Corner, Killingly has the largest school district in northeastern Connecticut. Our community is located about 15 miles south of Massachusetts and on the Rhode Island border. Major access is through Interstate 395, which runs north/south through the western side of Town. Killingly Public Schools enroll approximately 2,800 students, PreK – 12. Our schools share a long history of service to the community. Through consistent family and town support Killingly schools and their students have developed respected records of success in the fields of music, media, agriculture, technology, multicultural education, and sports. We are proud, as well, of our strong partnership with Quinebaug Valley Community College and the opportunities that this collaboration has provided for our students. Area businesses have been very active with Killingly High School's School-to-Career Program.
