Description

Elizabeth School District is a high performing school district, characterized by a personalized approach to learning and the recruitment and development of the very best in their fields. With over 325 employees we are one of the largest employers in Elbert County. The Elizabeth Schools are comprised of seven school buildings including (2) pre-schools (2) elementary schools, (1) middle school, (1) high school, (1) alternative high school, and (1) charter school. We have approximately 2500 students in our district. We believe that students are at the heart of everything we do. The town of Elizabeth is located in a beautiful area of the Palmer Divide among rolling hills and pine forests with views of Pikes Peak and the Rocky Mountains. At an elevation of 6,448 feet, Elizabeth is located 15 miles east of I-25, about 45 minutes southeast of downtown Denver and 45 minutes northeast of downtown Colorado Springs.
