Jonesboro School District is recognized as a leader in Northeast Arkansas and the surrounding three-state area. JSD has served Jonesboro and Northeast Arkansas for over 100 years with all schools fully accredited by the North Central Association of Colleges and Schools. The district incorporates innovative programs to supplement the tried and proven educational methods in emphasizing the basics while offering a well-rounded curriculum for all students. The Board of Education and JSD staff are committed to maintaining a safe and orderly educational environment at all schools. The mission of Jonesboro Public School District is to provide quality, equitable education in a functional, environment for all school-age children within the community.
