Description

Harrison School District is located in Harrison, Arkansas a city of about 13,000 in north central Arkansas. The District consists of four K-4 schools, one 5-6 middle school, one 7-9 junior high school, and one 10-12 senior high school. The K-12 enrollment is 2800. Students of the Harrison School District consistently outperform their state and national peers on every measure of student achievement. All schools in the Harrison School District meet all standards for accreditation of the Arkansas Department of Education. In addition, the Junior High School and Senior High School meet all standards for accreditation of the North Central Association of Schools and Colleges. All schools are in compliance with the Adequate Yearly Progress standard of No Child Left Behind and The Arkansas Comprehensive Testing, Assessment and Accountability Program (ACTAAP).
