Description
2007 marks 132 years of excellence in education provided by the Fort Smith School District. With over 13,600 students and more than 1700 professional and support staff, FSPS is the fourth largest school district in Arkansas. Our staff of highly qualified teachers enjoys strong support from a progressive administration and from a culturally diverse community in the river valley of NW Arkansas. Recognized as a leader in Arkansas and the region, we are continually changing in response to the needs of the student population. The District's 27 school centers are comprised of 19 K-6 elementary schools (3 of which include preschool), 4 junior high schools (grades 7-9), 2 senior high schools (grades 10-12), an alternative learning center (grades 7-12) and an adult education center. All schools are fully accredited by the North Central Association of Colleges and Schools. We invite you to apply to be a part of our success.
