Description

The Warren School District serves 1575 students in southeast Arkansas. Eastside New Vision Charter School, a district conversion charter, serves students in a standards based instructional design for students traditionally assigned to grades K-3. 4th and 5th graders attend Brunson Elementary where standards based design is being implemented in lab classrooms for the 2012-2013 school year. Warren Middle School houses grades 6-8, and Warren High School serves grades 9-12. Within the district is also Southeast Arkansas Community Based Education Center, where a multitude of vocational programs are taught, where adult education is housed, and which provides a day-care, Even Start, and an ABC preschool.

Mission Statement

It is the belief of the Warren School District that all students can learn. We accept the responsibility to nurture positive development of the whole child and to provide a safe environment for learning. Our mission is to encourage each student to achieve his or her highest educational potential enabling him or her to become a responsible, productive citizen. We believe that when staff members are learning, student learning is more optimal, therefore we are building adult learning capacity through PLCs.
