Pendergast Elementary District

The Pendergast School District is a growing suburban school district with a reputation for excellence in curriculum and instruction. Our focus is a nurturing environment for children. The District provides educational opportunities for just fewer than 10,000 students from kindergarten through eighth grade. Presently the District has twelve 12 schools plus one alternative school. Classroom aides, low class sizes, specialized classes for art, music, physical education, computers in every classroom, professional incentives and excellent benefits have attracted over 600 of the BEST teachers in Arizona to the District. Located in west Phoenix, the District offers residents and employees the best of both worlds. It has a small town community environment, coupled with the business, social and cultural advantages of the Phoenix metropolitan area. The convenience of Interstate 10 and the 101 Loop provide easy access from any place in the valley.
