Description

A district rich in tradition and dynamic in diversity, BUHSD is one of the fastest growing school districts in the West Valley. Only 35 miles west of downtown Phoenix, the district has a small town community feel but the amenities of a big city closeby. BUHSD has three traditional high schools which offer dual enrollment, advanced placment and honors courses along with the recent addition of an International Baccalaureate Program with nine 9 IB courses. All of our schools are equipped with state-of-the-art media and performing arts centers, athletic facilities, and technology. A variety of Career and Technical Education programs and facilities help prepare students for career success. Teachers, staff, parents and the community work together toward a shared vision of success for all students. This team approach fosters a collaborative and safe environment that celebrates individual differences and ensures that the needs of an ever-changing and growing student population are met.
