Kingman Unified School District serves over 7,000 PreK-12th grade students and families across 12 campuses, offering online and in-person educational opportunities. What makes KUSD unique? The District is invested in supporting students in finding the pathway that is unique to them, whether it is a more traditional educational path with an eye toward college, or a pathway that focuses on the trades and leaving school career-ready. The town of Kingman, Arizona is located in northwestern Arizona in the Hualapai Valley between the Cerbat and Hualapai Mountain ranges. Kingman is known as “The Heart of Historic Route 66” and is ideally situated between Los Angeles, Las Vegas, Phoenix, the Grand Canyon, and Lake Havasu City.

MISSION KUSD WELCOMES ALL STUDENTS ON A LEARNING PATHWAY TO INFORMED AND ENGAGED CITIZENSHIP. -The phrase welcomes all students means to receive or accept with pleasure, all students. -The phrase learning pathway means specific courses, academic programs, and learning experiences that individual students complete as they progress toward high school graduation. -The word informed means a decision based on knowledge or facts of a situation. -The word engaged encompasses a student or person’s attention, curiosity, interest, optimism, and passion. -The word citizenship means the state of being a member.
