Poteau Public Schools

Poteau Schools is located in southeastern Oklahoma. We have a professional staff of approximately 165 certified teachers. Poteau Schools serves over 2,100 students and is experiencing growth. Over the last four years test scores have been rising significantly. Poteau Schools has four sites; a primary school consisting of pre-k through 2nd grade, an upper elementary grades 3-5, a middle school grades 6-8, and a high school consisting of grades 9-12.
